Many times several saints with the same name can be found.

In that case in general the nameday of the saint in the highest classification is to be celebrated. A link to more information about classification of saints you find in the menu at the right.

In the alphabetical lists these cathegories have been processed partially. Except after saints, people can also be named after important religious feasts. The most important namedays have been marked yellow in the lists.

In the last column of each page is being referred to the concerning website, of which the info originates. Below every page the concerning URL’s are mentioned. If you find any contradictions you should follow the names of list D.
